What You Can Do

A special thank you to all those who make our work for the animals and the environment possible. Together we are a powerful voice. Please accept our gratitude for your generosity and support and for being a great friend of the animals and the environment.

See below for information on how you can help us.

Become a Monthly Donor:

Campaigns can be costly. For us to be as effective as possible - which is critical to making our politicians protect animals and the environment - the campaigns we run must be the best. Because good planning is essential to winning campaigns, a monthly commitment from you makes all the difference. Please take the time to give serious consideration to becoming a monthly giver. Call us today for more information. A printable donation form is available for you to send us your information by mail, click here. You may also fax us your information at 416-462-9647.

Please talk to your elected Member of Parliament!

Our prime objective in the October 14, 2008 federal election was to promote a principle of just and equitable human progress that respects, protects, and enhances the environment and the lives of the animals with whom we share our world.

During the election we asked voters to send a message about protecting the environment, ending animal cruelty, battling climate change, stopping the killing of young seals for the fashion industry, restoring our democratic rights, and running an honest and open government.

We ran a modest campaign at both the constituency level in Toronto-Centre, Toronto-Danforth, Guelph and Davenport, and nationally, taking advantage of the free air time offered by CBC radio and television. These campaigns were not as ambitious as those we have run in the past as the non-profit organizations Animal Alliance of Canada and Environment Voters.

To help make environmental and animal protection important issues, please contact your MP and ask where he / she stands on topics including ending Canda's commercial seal hunt - the largest, cruellest marine mammal slaughter in the world, curtailing or shutting down the Alberta Tar Sands - the world's largest Green House Gas emitter, and banning the importation of horses from the United States - where it is illegal to slaughter them for human consumption. For more important information on animal protection issues, please visit www.animalalliance.ca.

Help AAEVPC Grow:

We continue to build the Animal Alliance Environment Voters Party of Canada to campaign widely in the next federal election.

People are needed to run as candidates and help campaign.

If you can help, please e-mail Liz White, the leader of the party.
